Same Kettle of Fish 2012 Election

It is easy to forget after two years of campaigning by the Democrats and Republicans that it’s the same old kettle of fish.  Overlooked is the Silent Majority that is made up by millions of workers, soldiers, and small businessmen who run the country to guarantee the preservation and rights of the worst elements who reciprocate by beating the horse that pulls the plow.  From the Right comes the economic attack and from the Left comes the religious or spiritual attack, both extremes accelerating as the center drops out. It has even become fashionable to brand those with faith as out of touch – belonging to an antiquated America.  In fact it is the accusers who are out of touch, hopelessly parochial, and who lack critical thought because they take the easy road of political correctness and don’t value truth.

While the Silent Majority keeps its mouth shut and holds its nose in disgust, the story of Election 2012 was not who was at the party, but those who were not invited.  A big chunk of the millions excluded and silenced from the political process were done so by institutionalized demonization, scoff, marginalization, press bias, and old fashioned political coups overlooked by naïve Americans.  That is the difference between now and 1992 when Ross Perot made history.

As the stagnant air fills the political vacuum created by the departure of the better elements, it is a wonder why anyone would even want to go to the party.
